I grew up in Newport, NC and graduated from West Carteret High School in 1986. I have spent the majority of my life living in the most beautiful place on Earth. My adult life was spent working in the manufactured home industry in the 90’s and the insurance world from 2001 until 2025. I started and grew an independent insurance agency from scratch to over 2.4 million in revenue when I sold it.

In the insurance world, I concentrated on insuring condominium and homeowner’s associations in particular, with the last 10 years being exclusively focused on that niche. I have taught classes on HOA insurance to lawyers and real estate agents in NC for years.

I take my professional responsibilities very seriously. Throughout my career, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about my area of expertise. I spent years continuing my education and earned several professional designations. There are over 900,000 insurance agents in the US.
